About this work

Paul and Barnabas healed a man who could not walk. The priest of the temple of Jupiter and his followers wanted to offer bulls as a gift, believing Paul and Barnabas were Mercury and Jupiter in human form. Paul, horrified, tore his clothes to prevent this. At the bottom of the margin, a two-line inscription in Latin.
