The swearing of the Peace of Münster on 15 May 1648, in the great hall or Friedenssaal of the town hall in Münster. The delegates stand around a table and take the oath with raised hand. Large print after the painting by Gerard ter Borch the Younger. Below the image the Latin inscription in three lines.
