About this work

Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus and John take the body of Christ from the cross. Nicodemus stands on a ladder and holds an arm of Christ. John and Joseph receive the body of Christ. Mary Magdalene kneels on the ground and reaches for Christ's feet.
