Allegory on the flourishing state of the Republic, 1602. View in the forest with Prince Maurice at the head of a hunting party, where the game is offered to the Dutch Maiden. On the right, the procession of hunters including Frederick Henry. The Dutch Maiden stands surrounded by the personifications of the liberal arts, Mercury, and the coats of arms of the provinces of the Republic. Fame blows the trumpet. In the foreground, two putti with the coat of arms of Maurice and the blooming orange tree. In the caption, four verses of three lines in Latin.
