About this work

The fresco 'The School of Athens' by Raphael in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican. It depicts a school of philosophers or an agora where famous Greek philosophers and scholars, such as Aristotle, Plato and Socrates, are standing in groups talking. It is an embodiment of philosophy and its rational search for Truth.
