About this work
Christ floating in a halo of light. Beside him, Elijah and Moses, as symbols of the Old Law. The apostles lie on the mountain top in the dazzling light. At the foot of the mountain, another scene with the apostles in conversation with the scribes. A father brings his sick son to Christ to be healed.
