About this work

Design of a round medallion with, in five concentric circles, the names of the Palatine Counts and their years of reign, beginning with Rudolf II and ending with John William of the Palatinate. In the center of the medallion an emblem with a lion. The motto of the emblem reads: "Nunquam sua lumina claudit".
