About this work
Design of a round medallion with, in six concentric circles, the names of the Electors of Trier and their years of reign, beginning with Archbishop Diether of Nassau and ending with John Hugo of Orsbeck. In the center of the medallion an emblem with a statue of a young man. The motto of the emblem reads: "Imperii finium tutor strenus".
