About this work
A frame with various cartouches containing biblical scenes. Bottom left a Roman Catholic cleric, bottom right a monk. Center top a cartouche with the Holy Trinity and an image of Creation. Clockwise: The Creation of Eve, the Fall of Man, the Annunciation to Mary, the Crucifixion, Moses with the Tables of the Law, and a cartouche with Faith, Hope, and Charity. On the lower pedestals the Last Judgment and Hell. Center bottom an empty ornamental cartouche. Possibly a title page.
