About this work

Isaac and Rebekah stand before Abimelech, king of the Philistines at Gerar. Abimelech had summoned them when he discovered that the two were married. Isaac had claimed that Rebekah was his sister. In the upper left corner, a reference to Genesis 26 in mirror image.
