About this work
The three angels visit Abraham and sit at the table he has set for them. They promise him that he and Sarah will have a son. Abraham holds a dish in his hands. Sarah listens at the doorway and laughs. In the distance, a landscape with a river. According to the biblical text in Gen. 18:18.
