Copy of the original title print for Houtmans' Journal of the voyage of the Dutch ships made in the East Indies, 1598. The departure of the four ships: Duyfken, Amstelredam, Mauritius and Hollandia from Amsterdam for the first sea voyage to the East Indies. On the right the governor of Bantam, on the left the prince of Bantam and at the bottom inhabitants of the East Indies, on the right a Dutchman. Numbered bottom right: no. 1.
