About this work
Clara's success prompts Mout to make a new print in 1747. It now includes his own portrait and the ship on which Clara had sailed to Europe. The owner of the inn in Mannheim where Clara is on view, Maria Barbara Endtin, has a poem printed to accompany it after Charles Theodor, Elector Palatine, visited Clara. Good advertizing!
