About this work

Punishment of adulterers according to the tradition in Pattani, 1602. The death penalty as carried out according to local custom on adulterers: the man is stabbed to death with a dagger and the woman is strangled. Part of the illustrations in the report of Jacob van Neck's second voyage to the East Indies, 1600-1604. No. 3.
