About this work

The Prince of Aceh receives the Dutch, 16 August 1603. The Dutch are sitting on the ground and are served food. The prince has a bodyguard of armed women. Part of the illustrations in the report of the first voyage to the East Indies for the VOC under Van Warwyck and De Weert in 1602, No. 6.
