About this work
Men and women worship the Greek god Zeus at altars in a temple, bringing offerings such as a young bull. This idolatry is suddenly interrupted to their great terror by an angel surrounded by rays of light who shows them a chalice with a host. Image in two plates. This print is part of an album.
