On the right in the foreground, Mary sits on a chair. She is visited by the angel Gabriel. He tells her that she will bear a son who will be called Christ. Above Mary the dove as a symbol of the Holy Spirit. In the sky a group of little angels flies. On the left Joseph is at work.
