About this work
Title print with title on a stretched rectangular cloth, set in an architectural frame with scrollwork and allegorical figures. At the top sit two winged female figures with olive branches, palm branches, and laurel wreaths in their hands. On the left stands Prudence (Prudentia) with a mirror in the left hand and snakes in the right. On the right stands Justice (Justitia) with sword and scales. At the bottom on the sides sit two female figures with cornucopias. In the middle below, in a cartouche, the printer's mark of Feyerabend: a standing Fame. At the bottom on scrollwork, monogram of Amman: left I and right A.
