About this work
Centrally in the sky, the Fountain of Life (Fons Vitae) with the Lamb of God. Above it, God the Father and cherubim. Around the fountain, various kneeling kings. To the left of the fountain, the Virgin Mary; to the right, St. Bernard. Under the fountain, the monogram IHS. The print is part of a fourteen-part series forming a frame around an image of St. Bernard of Clairvaux.
