About this work
Saint Martin, bishop of Tours, drives the devil out of a possessed man by sticking his fingers into his mouth. The possessed man is carried to the saint by four men. Martin wears his bishop's vestments and points to an embroidery on his cloak depicting the marriage of Mary and Joseph. In a cartouche an inscription in Latin.
