About this work

Sheet with on the left a copy of the French emblem on the campaign of Louis XIV in 1672 with the comparison of Louis XIV with the sun and in which the Dutch Lion is conquered. Below a 'Klink-Dicht', the translation of the original French verse. On the right a new Dutch emblem made in response to the French with warlike Dutch lions and a setting sun. Below is the 'Tegen-Klink-Dicht'. At the bottom the sheet is dated by hand 1672 2/20.
