Portrait of Louis de Potter, a prominent politician involved in the Belgian Revolution. At the top of the portrait, below it a depiction of De Potter in his cell, 2 December 1829. De Potter was imprisoned from 1828 to 1830. Part of a group of portraits of persons who participated in or became famous because of the Belgian Revolution.
