About this work

The body of Christ is taken down from the cross by Nicodemus and Joseph, both on a ladder, helped by two anonymous figures. John, Mary and Mary Magdalene sit on the ground by the body of Christ. In the margin a three-line inscription in Latin. Print from a series of fifteen with the Passion of Christ.
