About this work

Bust portrait of Johannes Wilhelm von Gollen, with a skullcap. Bottom right: 104. The portrait is framed by a cartouche with the coat of arms of the sitter, a chain with the Order of the Golden Fleece, and a Latin border inscription. In the cartouche below the frame, a five-line Latin inscription. Print from a series of portraits after paintings by Anselmus van Hulle of all delegates at the peace negotiations in Münster and Osnabrück.
