About this work

Monument erected in 1817 to commemorate the battles at the Manpad in Heemstede: the victory over and expulsion of the Flemings on 26 April 1304 and an episode from the Siege of Haarlem on 8 July 1573. Monument surrounded by a fence, a man and a boy beside it.
