About this work
A child falls into the fire and is healed when brought to the host. The father pulls the child out of the fire. Print no. 7 from the series of 16 scenes of The Miracle of Amsterdam, based on the events of 15 March 1345. Copies after the series by Bolswert. Below the scene in the plate engraved a six-line verse in Latin, below that a six-line verse in book print in Dutch.
