About this work

Arrest of the Franciscan monks in a monastery in Bruges on charges of sodomy, 18 May 1578. Under the escort of soldiers, the monks are taken away from the monastery. Among them the notorious Brother Cornelis of Dordrecht. With a 15-line inscription in German. Numbered: 17. On this copy, the verses about sodomy in the inscription have been pasted over with paper.
