Siege of Kerpen near Gullik by the troops of Farnese, 15 January 1579. After the capture of the city, the commander of the defenders Biel is hanged along with others. In the foreground the bombardment of the castle, on the bridge to the castle hangs the body of Biel. With a caption of 16 lines in German. Numbered 158 in the lower left.
