Capture of Lier by the Spaniards through the treachery of the Scottish commander William Semple, 11 August 1582. Spanish cavalry ride through the gate into the city. Fighting takes place in the streets. With an inscription of 10 lines in German and 3 lines in French. Numbered in the lower left: 180. The print is part of an album.
