About this work
Bombardment of Venlo, after which the city surrendered to the army of the Duke of Parma, 28 June 1586. Parma's army bombards the city from the opposite bank of the Maas. On the left the Spaniards enter the city, on the right the States army leaves the city. With a 12-line inscription in German. Numbered 236 in the lower left. The print is part of an album.
