About this work

The beheading of Egmond and Horne at the Grote Markt in Brussels, 5 June 1568. Horne kneels blindfolded, the body of Egmond lies under a cloth. Execution on a scaffold surrounded by soldiers of Alva. With an inscription of 8 lines in German. Numbered in the lower left: 57. The print is part of an album.
