Similarities between the devastations during the old and new Reformation. In a dialogue between a Catholic and a Reformed preacher, a comparison is made between the destruction of the apostolic church in ancient Rome and the devastations during the current Reformation with the Iconoclastic Fury of 1566. Images are pulled down and destroyed from churches, Catholics are persecuted, tortured and murdered. On the left, the old times and on the right, the new events.
