Allegorical comparison between Orange and Alva, with the Spanish Fury in the background. On the left William of Orange accompanied by the personifications of Honor (Honor), Wealth (Divitiae) and Wise Counsel (Prud. Cons.). On the right Alva between Falsehood (Fallacia) and Envy (Invidia). He leads the Dutch Maiden (Belgica) naked and bound by the arm. At his feet the People (Plebs) as a poor beggar. In the background the Spanish Fury in Antwerp. In the sky Fame (Fama) with trumpets. Without the verses below the image.
