Sack of Mechelen by the army of Alva, under command of his son Don Frederik, 1 October 1572. Goods are gathered on the market and carried away by soldiers. In the center foreground, a standing naked mother weeping with children. With a ten-line German subtitle. Numbered: 7. A strip of paper with the number 7 and a three-line French subtitle glued to the underside of the print.
