The recapture of Sint Eustatius by the French in 1781. Fragment of a larger plate with the title 'Atlas der Geschiedenissen van onzen tyd. Plaat I'. This was a trial issue of a new series of depictions of historical events from the years 1780-1787; the series was not continued after this first issue.
