About this work

The St. Bavo Church in Haarlem stormed during the midday prayer (The Noon) by States soldiers and rioters, 29 May 1578. View inside the church where the Catholic clergy are driven out and damage is done, during which the priest Balling is murdered. This event is known as The Haarlem Noon.
