The city of Lier taken by the Spaniards through the treachery of the Scottish commander William Semple, 11 August 1582. Spanish riders ride through the gate into the city. Fighting takes place in the streets. With a caption of 4 lines in Dutch and 3 lines in French. Unnumbered. Printed on the reverse with text in Latin.
