The capture of Breda by the States' army under Maurice, 4 March 1590. Four separate consecutive scenes. Top left: the embarkation in the peat barge; top right: the peat barge is drawn into the castle; bottom left: the troops emerge and engage the occupiers; bottom right: arrival of Maurice's troops and the flight of the occupiers. Printed separately below the image is the legend 1-9 in Dutch.
