About this work

The ship threatens to get stuck in the ice at Orange Island, 10-15 August 1596. A boat in front of the ship to moor it, a crew member pushes ice floes aside. Copies of the original illustrations in the travel report of the voyage of Willem Barendsz and Jacob van Heemskerck in 1596-1597 and the stay on the island of Nova Zembla, No. 10.
