Two peasants living behind the city of Bantam (Banten), 1596. They carry bunches of bananas and dates on a stick over their shoulders. Prints from the engraved plates for the original illustrations in the travel account of the First Voyage of Cornelis de Houtman to the East Indies in 1595–1597. No. 24.
