About this work

Arrival of the fleet at the Ladrones or Mariana Islands, January 1616. At anchor lie the ships: the Son, the Maen, the Morghen-Ster, the Aeolus, the Jager, and the captured ship. In the water, various types of local vessels. On the left foreground, two examples of the local population. Part of the illustrations in the report of the voyage of Joris van Spilbergen around the world, 1614-1617, No. 16.
