Map with the siege of Zaltbommel and other strongholds in the Bommelerwaard in the hands of the States army under Maurice by the Spaniards under Mendoza, and the construction of the fort Sint-Andries, from early May to early June 1599. Left the Meuse, bottom the Waal, right Bommel. Image in an oval with border text in Latin. In the four corners two angels and the two biblical heroes Gideon and Judas Maccabaeus.
