Assault on Ostend by the Spanish army on January 7, 1602. Siege of Ostend under Albertus and later under Spinola, 1601–1604. Plan of the city with the surrounding land, all fortifications, and the camps of the besiegers. With battles around the city and the assault by the besiegers on January 7, 1602. In the upper left, a cartouche with titles in Dutch and French. At the bottom of the print, a separately printed text sheet is pasted with a description of the events and legends 1–48 and A–N in Dutch.
