About this work

The siege of Sluis and the covered siege ramp used by the States army under Maurice, beginning May – 19 August 1604. Above a plan of Sluis and the surrounding area with skirmishes and the quarters of the besieging troops. At the bottom soldiers walking through the covered siege ramp anchored in the water to fire upon the city from there.
