Thanks to the Truce (the Trêves) farmers and soldiers can now live peacefully together, 1609. Farmers and soldiers entertain themselves with drinking, dancing and making music on the terrace in front of an inn. With an inscription of 3 verses of 2 lines in Dutch. Part of the series of 4 prints on the struggle between farmers and soldiers during the war.
