Fleeing soldiers of the States Army under Count Willem of Nassau-Siegen after the failed attack on the redoubt at Kallo, 21 June 1638. The soldiers try to reach the waiting boats through the water. Right the church of Kallo. Part of an ensemble of two plates and two text sheets in Dutch and French.
