About this work
Plan of Sas van Gent, besieged by the States Army under Frederick Henry, begun 28 July and captured 5 September 1644. Plan of the fortifications around Sas van Gent, at the bottom two men with a cloth showing an enlarged detail of the bombardment at the ravelins near the Rapenburg. Top left a cartouche with the title and the legend a-s, above it an inset with a cross-section of the city wall. Accompanied by a text sheet (in 2 parts).
