About this work

Siege and capture of Hulst by the States' army under Frederick Henry from 28 September to 5 November 1645. Plan of the city of Hulst and the surrounding land with the siege lines and the camps of the besiegers. Bottom left a cartouche with the legend 1-26. Bottom right a scale bar: Scale of 300 Rhenish Rods. On verso Latin text. Possibly originally part of an unmounted ensemble consisting of the two maps, the profile, the sheet with the six forts, the three sheets of the departure of the garrison, and the two text sheets.
