About this work

Map of the siege of the fort Schenckenschans, which was taken by surprise by the Spaniards on 28 July 1635 and by the States' army under Frederik Hendrik since 30 July 1635. Large map on three sheets showing the location of the fort Schenckenschans at the junction of the Rhine and the Waal. On the left, an inset with a map of the larger area; on the right, a cloth held up by soldiers with the titles. Below the print, two text sheets are pasted with descriptions and legends A-Z and 1-50 in Dutch and French.
