Allegory on the advantages gained by the Turks through the disunity among Christian nations, ca. 1664. Central scene in which the Dutchman is being cut and shaved in a barber's shop by the barber and his assistant, the Spaniard, with a mirror, while the Turk sharpens his scimitar in the background. Surrounded by twelve small allegorical scenes depicting a relevant proverb.
